The Salvation Army’s Divisional Praise & Worship team presents yet another evening of intense and dynamic praise and worship, entitled “Praise-A-Thon (Part II)”.

This evening will feature Praise & Worship groups from all over Barbados. The aim is to spend time in the presence of God just praising and worshipping Him.With the vision of holding these sessions all around the island, this time it will be on the grounds of The Salvation Army, Checker Hall, St Lucy on Saturday the 4th of September commencing at 5pm.This event is FREE, so come, be blessed and bless someone!

Healing for the Soul Ministries (HFS) was launched in July 2006 after many years of prayer and fasting by the ministry’s founder, Minister Judy P. Linton. It was birthed out of a strong desire to mend broken lives. Healing for the Soul Ministries, a not-for-profit organization is funded by the generosity of its partners.

With a team of powerful persons such as Minister Derek Burley, Minister Anthony Quintyne, Rev. Oral Walcott and Psalmist Susan Quintyne they seek to identify those whose lives are in crisis and empower them to be overcomers through the Word and prayer. HFS currently supports missions trips throughout Africa, the Caribbean and USA.

These were the key ingredients used in creating a fiery time at the recently held Gospelfest culminating event: One Awesome Day at the Farley Hill National Park, on Sunday May 30th, 2010.Gospelfest is the event which Barbadians can be seen in the thousands trying to get a cool picnic spot, to hear some of their favourite artistes.

Though the hill was not full to capacity, that did not stop the artistes from bringing a jump and shout praise the Lord session. The Berton Sisters from Trinidad and Tobago were amongst many artistes who brought original songs to the stage. Flair and colour persisted as the songs which contained great Caribbean flavour were rendered.
