Popular Nollywood actress Bukola Olatunji gives birth to a girl at Queen’s Hospital in New York.
On Saturday morning, September 28, the newlywed posted to Twitter pictures of herself holding her baby.
She also shared pictures of herself with Awele Odita and Tawa Ajisefini, two other actors.
She captioned the post:
“It’s the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our sights, Alhamdulilah.”
The actress in an earlier post on Friday shared the joyous news on her Instagram page, posting maternity photos to mark the occasion
She captioned the post, “Oroayolojasi. It’s a girl,” expressing her gratitude and excitement.
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages and prayers to celebrate the baby’s arrival.
Actress Faithia Williams wrote, “Congratulations dearly.”
Actress Tawa Ajisefini wrote, “Ose olorun aanu,” thanking God for His grace.
Actor Salami Rotimi commented, “Congratulations dearie.”
Nkechi Blessing added, “Big big congratulations sis.”
Omowunmi Ajiboye expressed her joy writing, “Congratulations my darling. Olorun awo adasi fun wa,” praying for God’s continued blessings.
Yetunde Barnabas also joined in saying, “Thank you Jesus.”
Femi Adebayo wrote, “Awwwwn… Congratulations dear. Olorun a wo. Olorun a dasi,” offering prayers for protection and blessings.
Olatunji is a graduate of Public Administration from The Polytechnic of Ibadan. She has made a name for herself in the Yoruba movie industry.
She began her acting journey with the drama group Igbalajobi and has starred in numerous Nollywood films.
She is also a movie producer. Olatunji has produced six projects, including ‘Ini Oluwa’, ‘Ife Inu Mi’, ‘Ayanmo’, ‘Kosi Ife’, ‘Akutu’, and ‘Esan Laye’.
The actress’ delivery comes shortly after comic actor Olu Olowogemo Harejan, popularly known as Portable Harejan welcomed a baby boy with his wife, actress Ebunoluwa Edafe.
Portable shared the news on his Instagram page on Thursday September 26, posting a split-screen video featuring his wife and their newborn son.
