Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese striker and former world footballer of the year, is purportedly saying in a new video circulating on social media that he used to pay his mother $50k, or almost N81 million, every month.
This comes after American rapper Travis Scott and singer Asake’s smash song “Active” won over many Nigerian hearts with Cristiano Ronaldo’s vibes.
According to Cristiano Ronaldo, he ensures his mother receives N81 million every month to support her lifestyle, emphasizing that she sacrificed everything for him to become a footballer.
Speaking on how his mother inspired him, Cristiano Ronaldo uttered that when he was younger, his parents used to be very poor adding that his mother would do multiple jobs to buy him clothes, and shoes so that he could play football.
Cristiano Ronaldo further said that his mother sacrificed everything so that he could chase his dream of becoming a professional football player.
In his words; “I send my mother $5OK every month, to support her lifestyle. but that is just a small part of the story, when I was young, we were really poor, so my mother worked multiple jobs, just to buy me clothes and shoes, so I could play football. She sacrificed everything, so I could chase my dreams and become a football player…”
Cristiano Ronaldo said that his lovely mother now lives with him and his family in their luxurious mansion worth $6million. She concluded that she drives a luxurious car and enjoys her life because she deserves it. He added that his mother is the real reason he became the best football player in the world today.
“Now she lives with us in our $6m dollar mansion, drives a lot of luxury cars, and enjoys her lives because she deserves it. my mother is the real reason I became the best football player in the world, cause without her, none of this would be possible.”
As of the moment of filling this content, Cristiano Ronaldo is worth $500 million, he is the most followed human being in the world with N640million followers on Instagram and he currently plays for Al-Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia.
