Nollywood actress Ramota Adeotu, widely known as Aunty Ramota, has appealed to Nigerians for help after encountering issues with her management.
In a video making the rounds on Instagram, Aunty Ramota tearfully shared that she is stranded and without a place to stay. She explained that her situation worsened after her helper, who recently got married, asked her to leave to make room for their personal space, leaving her homeless.
To make matters worse, Aunty Ramota revealed that the man who had been helping her build a house abruptly stopped due to personal issues.
Adding to her struggles, she accused her management of stealing all her money and deleting her social media accounts, including TikTok, which has cut off a vital source of income and exposure for her.
Aunty Ramota expressed deep frustration, stating that despite her hard work, her management took advantage of her, leaving her in a vulnerable position.
In her words; “I’m currently stranded without accommodation. The lady I was staying with got married last month, and she asked me to leave because her husband wasn’t comfortable with me staying there.
“The man who was helping me build my house stopped because of personal issues. To make things worse, my management stole all the money I had. They even deleted my TikTok and every other social media account.
I worked so hard, but they kept cheating me because they thought I wouldn’t know how much we were really making. Now, I don’t even have enough to rent a place.
Someone kindly offered to rent a space for me, but I told them I want to finish building my house, even if it’s just one room, so I can finally have a place to call my own”.
