Recently, she promoted the movie on her official X page, highlighting the character it honors, Efunroye Tinubu.

Faithia posted a picture of the movie poster and mentioned in her caption that Efunroye was not only a warrior but also a ruler who changed history.

Following Faithia Williams’ post, several Nigerians expressed their frustration on X. Many users insisted that Efunroye was not as the actress described her. They stated that she was a merciless slave trader and should not be celebrated.
