Nollywood actress, Abebi, has taken a significant step in her academic journey as she matriculates into university.
Her mother, who couldn’t contain her excitement, took to social media to celebrate her daughter’s achievement.
The proud mother recalled a primary school article written by Abebi, where she listed the four essential gowns every girl should wear: matriculation, convocation, wedding, and maternity gowns.
She expressed her joy in seeing Abebi wear the first of these gowns and prayed for her daughter’s success in her academic pursuits.
In her words;

I remember when you were in primary school and wrote an article for the school magazine about the four essential gowns every girl should wear. You listed the gowns as follows:
1. Matriculation Gown
2. Convocation Gown
3. Wedding Gown
4. Maternity Gown
I am so excited to see you wearing the first gown that a girl should wear, and I thank God Almighty for this moment. I pray that He will keep you, guide you, and protect you as you grow and prepare to wear the remaining gowns. I wish you all-around success, my dear. From matriculation to convocation, in Jesus’ name, may the Lord continue to grant you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. You will never grow weary, and you will emerge with flying colors in Jesus’ name. Thank you for making us proud, my love. I love you!”
