Baba Ashipa, a veteran actor in the Nigerian film industry, has disclosed the sad event that occurred in his life within a span of just four days.
In an emotional message, he detailed the incomprehensible losses he had to go through, beginning with the death of his child on Thursday, followed by the death of his mother on Sunday, and then finally the death of his wife on Monday. As a result of this chain of occurrences, he is currently struggling with great grief, which has compounded the challenges he has had with regard to his health
“It has been very difficult for me to recover from my illness on time because I was depressed,” Ashipa said, opening up about the impact that these events have had on her life. His mental health was not the only thing that suffered as a result of the emotional burden of losing three key persons in such a short period of time; his physical health also showed signs of suffering. He made a point of mentioning the difficulties he encountered in dealing with his condition in the midst of crippling sadness, highlighting the fact that the grief was overwhelming.
Nevertheless, Baba Ashipa added, “My health is progressing well at the moment, and I give thanks to God.” This was a note of resilience that Baba Ashipa had written.
