Phyna’s sister Ruth Otabor DIED at 9am this morning After she was airlifted to lagos lagoon hospital. Mr Aliko Dangote agreed to pay for her trip abroad the family chose India 🇮🇳 However she couldn’t fly cos the Doctors told me she was not stable. Though I’m no longer in journalism, I followed the case closely behind the scenes speaking to the Dangote group and watched the ruckus that ensued on social media. The Dangote team had been on the case to see all was taken care of. Unfortunately the young lady died this morning. I posted Phyna’s photo hospitalized 15 mins before Ruth died but decided to leave it and announce after I heard from the Dangote group. I hope this can change awareness with safety of trucking in Nigeria. May she rest in peace 💔🕊️
